All are welcome
The Open History Society is open to everybody and meets on the last Friday of the month between September and May to hear talks from historians and those interested in and knowledgeable about history. Speakers have included eminent academics, published authors, documentary producers, historical novelists, postgraduate researchers and Open History Society members. You are very welcome to turn up on the night of the talks at our permanent venue, the Royal Scots Club in Abercromby Place in central Edinburgh. Just ask at the reception desk for directions to the meeting room. There you will be made to feel welcome by one of our committee members.
